Booking Sarathi

About Booking Sarathi

Booking Sarathi helps families in the United States find and book the people who make a puja or a celebration happen, starting with pandits.

Why we exist

Arranging a puja, a bratabandha or a wedding far from home usually means a chain of phone calls: who is available, what it costs, which date is right, what to buy. Families new to a city often don't know where to start, and pandits spend hours answering the same questions.

Booking Sarathi puts that in one place. You see who serves your area, what each service includes, what it costs, and which dates suit the ritual. The pandit confirms the timing himself, never a computer, and you both get reminders and a checklist before the day.

What the name means

A sarathi is a charioteer, the one who knows the road and gets you there. Krishna served Arjuna as his sarathi. We don't perform the ceremony; we make sure you reach the right person for it, with nothing left unclear. Our mark is the chariot wheel.

How it works

  • Every provider is reviewed by our team before their listing goes live.
  • The price you see is the price you pay; our service fee is already included.
  • Payment goes directly to the provider. Booking Sarathi never holds your money.
  • Everything is available in Nepali and English, including reminders and receipts.
  • For pujas, each date shows the Nepali calendar date, and the pandit confirms the final timing personally.

What's next

Pandits are available today. Photographers and videographers, event halls, decorators and caterers are being onboarded next, so a family can book everything for a ceremony in one place. Providers in those categories can register interest now.
