Haribodhini Ekadashi is the eleventh day of the bright half of Kartik, called Thulo Ekadashi, the great Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu, asleep since Harishayani Ekadashi in Ashadh, wakes on this day and the four months of Chaturmas end. Weddings, bratabandha and other auspicious work, held back during those months, begin again. The tulsi planted at Harishayani is married to Vishnu in the Tulsi Vivah.
How families keep it
Devotees fast, worship Vishnu and hold the wedding of the tulsi in the courtyard in the evening. Many families hold a Satyanarayan puja.

Each date is the day Nepal keeps the festival. Nepal publishes its patro one year at a time, so a date further ahead can move by a day when that year's patro comes out. For a ceremony, Pandit Ji confirms the day and the muhurta.
