Tithi: Baisakh Shukla Ekadashi. Households (Smarta) keep the day Ekadashi stands at sunrise in Nepal, and Vaishnavas the last day it stands at dawn. Where the two differ, Nepal's patro gives both days.

Mohini Ekadashi is the eleventh day of the bright fortnight of Baisakh. When the gods and the demons churned the ocean, Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini so that the nectar would reach the gods, and the day carries her name. The fast is kept to be free of attachment and of past wrongs.
How families keep it
Those who keep the fast eat no grain or pulses that day; many take only fruit, milk and roots, and some take nothing at all. Lord Vishnu is worshipped with tulsi leaves, and the fast is broken the next morning, on Dwadashi.

Each date is the day Nepal keeps the festival. Nepal publishes its patro one year at a time, so a date further ahead can move by a day when that year's patro comes out. For a ceremony, Pandit Ji confirms the day and the muhurta.
